切利在聖誕節的時候買了一些禮物給她的學生們。

(4.) 提交 (v.) [prɪˋzɛnt] （重音不一樣）
Cherry presented her paper at the conference.
切利在會議的時候提交了她的報告。

present這個字實在太萬用了！
不僅有不同的詞性，中文意思，連發音也不一樣。
